Using Pinfinder under Linux

NOTE: Pinfinder only supports iOS 7-12.4 - iOS 13 and later is not supported

To use Pinfinder to recover your iOS restrictions passcode on a Linux machine, follow the steps below:

  • Make a backup of your device, using something like libimobiledevice
  • Download the latest release of pinfinder for Linux
  • Run the program, passing the path to the backup directory as an argument
  • Within a minute or less should see your restrictions passcode printed on the screen
